With environment of 1000+ computers, you can only use search to quickly find the right one. So for search you always need to click on "All machines", wait few seconds till all computers are loaded and then put few letters in the search box for the right computer. The first step: loading all computers in the browser and waiting could be skipped, as it is unnecessary (and even painful on mobile).
If only all will be searched by default, like it is on google:)
