Yes, that would be useful, being able to add an IP address would means that even without DNS machines would still connect.

Can someone clarify if, when enabled, does this option apply to all HOSTS when connected or just applied when an agent connects to a HOST? (I'm hoping just the latter so enabling it does not override laptop power options and screensavers on any machine with Connectwise control installed)
