osx 10.15.5 screen recording cannot be set
I have a client running osx 10.15..5. Installed connectwise control package. Got through the other security and privacy settings. When I went to screen recording, connectwise control does not show up. There is no option to manually add the program. I am at a loss. Please advise

I am having a similar issue since upgrading to Catalina 10.15.5. Keep getting prompted to allow Screen Recording. When I click the Connectwise Control Request Access buttion on the host no entries show up for Connectwise control in the Screen Recording section of Security & Privacy | Privacy. I have tried reinstalling both from the web console and a manual install on the host.
Found workaround here. Solution. Log on as another user. https://apple.stackexchange.com/questions/384230/how-do-i-reset-screen-recording-permission-on-macos-catalina
I had this same issue with Catalina and now Big Sur. I did the app permission reset as suggested by homerjsimpson8 but that just cleared all my apps in Screen Recording and after a reboot it still did not show up. I followed these steps to fix it and got it working:
1. Open terminal and run this command: Just a note, I am not sure if this was needed but it is the steps I followed. I would recommend trying without the reset first.
2. Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy Tab > Screen Recording
3. Unlock to make changes (bottom left)
4. Drag or drop or press the + button and find your connectwisecontrol-xxxxx.app file, mine was in /opt/
5. Once in the list give it permission by checking the box
6. reboot
Hope this helps.
