macOS "Reboot and Reconnect" dialog appears only for MacBooks but not iMacs

I've found that, all things being equal, the "Credentials Required" dialog only appears on MacBooks, but not on iMacs, when using the "Reboot and Reconnect" feature in the Essentials menu of the host client.

Just to clarify: What this means is that on iMacs, the agent doesn't reconnect after reboot, so I end up having to login to the computer manually and in person. It seems to need the credentials to start the agent service after reboot.

Correction: This seems to be happening to some MacBooks now too, so it's not desktop-specific.
