Remote session stops responding to input when two or more sessions are open on MacOS (multiple versions)

We are cloud hosted SC and I have noticed over the past 2 years that if I have more than one remote session open for longer than 60 seconds without input, both will stop responding to input and the session will need to be restarted.

I have spoken with all my colleagues on different versions of OSX and they all experience the exact same issue.

Is this a known bug or "works as designed?"
