Issues with Remote printing
Ticket #9851299
"Printers are
getting stuck on a machine after logging out of Windows within an Access
session. I'm running version 6.5.16479 on both server and clients, and
reproduced this when connecting from Win7 to Win7 and Win7 to Win10. Steps to
reproduce:
1. Connect to a session
2. Wait for printers to map
3. Log out of Windows
4. Log back in Windows (can be the same account)
5. Duplicate printers are mapped
6. Disconnect session, and only the printers from step 5 are removed"
------
I will also escalate this up internally as a bug so that we can have it
investigated as soon as possible.
Sincerely,
Michael Legato

This is from 4 weeks ago and I am still waiting for a fix. We have very upset clients that have 900+ printers stuck and most the temp fix of the run command won't work. Is this close to a resolution?

I am also having this problem. A client I remoted a couple days ago for a one-time support session can still see my printers listed on her PC even after she restarts. I was unaware this was happening until she sent me a screenshot. In the meantime, I have instructed client to highlight each one and choose remove device option, but this is not an easy solution as it shows many printers which need removed, so not a quick process.

Still waiting on a response on this as we have this issue as well. Is it addressed in the latest build?
Also, Why are these posts not answered at all?

Hey Karl,
The fix for this is merged in 6.7. A pre-release should be out mid-to-end July.
