Attempting to open an Access session using ClickOnceRun generates a windows error:
"This installation package could not be opened. Verify the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows installer package."

Good morning,
Please follow the steps outlined below, and update this thread with the results:
1) Close all host client windows on the affected machine
2) From a command prompt, run the following to clear the machine's click once cache: rundll32 dfshim CleanOnlineAppCache
3) Re-launch the client

Unable to reproduce behavior in test environment. Marking post as not a bug.

Same problem when using Chrome on windows 7 Pro laptop. I Cleared Chromes cache no effect , marked the download as unblocked and it worked but it still downloads a file for every new connection. Not good for end users. Switched to Firefox works fine. Problem solved . Hope this helps someone else having the same problem.
