
Unable to install CWC , through .exe installer , which i build from CWC portal , Ref ticket # 9500271
Received following error , once I tried to install
agent through portal build (.Exe) application. it's Windows 10 with latest Fall creator update 1709.
This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it. or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid installer package

Good morning,
I believe the behavior you're experiencing is caused by Symantec Endpoint Protection's SONAR functionality (I'm making this assumption based on the Norton popup in the attached screenshot).
If you temporarily disable SONAR and/or Norton AV on that machine, does client installation continue to fail?

This behavior likely results from interference from Symantec. Since the behavior is not directly related to ConnectWise Control code, marking as not a bug.
We will continue attempting to reach out to Symantec about potentially whitelisting the client exe installer.
