Wallpaper not restoring after disconnect

So far this seems to be a Mac bug only.  When you connect, it's not that the wallpaper is being suppressed from transmission as in RDP, it's that the wallpaper is being CHANGED.  That's not good.  Further, this is a permanent change, it's not being restored once the session is ended.  And lastly, it's ALSO changing the login background, which is an entirely different file normally, unless you're altering this at a very low level.  These are all problematic as we have distinct login screens and desktop backgrounds on systems in different areas for specific reasons.  While we believe we can fix this by turning off the hidewallpaper app setting, this is NOT how this should behave.  Forum posts seem to indicate this has been a bug for many years but has not been addressed.

Good afternoon,

Thank you for reporting this issue. I have replicated this behavior in the case where the host disconnects from the session after having logged out as the current user. I registered an issue with development, and it's currently under investigation.

Are you finding that the wallpaper does not get restored even if you disconnect from the session prior to logging out the current user?

That is consistent with our observations, which of course includes every instance where fast user switching needs to be employed.  Note that even if the user logs back in during the session, their wallpaper is not restored.

Thank you for the update. While I'm unable to offer an ETA for a fix at this time, I can say that development is actively investigating the OS X wallpaper issue described in this thread.
