"layout for the requested document was not found" error

namersname name 4 years ago updated by Ben Burner 4 years ago 3

Hi, I just signed up for a connectwise control hosted solution trial. (I already use self-hosted for my business).

This is not proving as reliable though. Now any time I try to sign into the account I made a few hours ago using <customURL>.connectwise.com, I get the below error.

This occurs on all browsers on windows and macOS.

So basically I think I have lost access to the computers I have in the account.

Unless there is some other sneaky way to log on and bypass this error that immediately leads me to a dead end on logon.

Really love the self-hosted product, but we're self hosting for a reason, avoiding bugs like this being an obvious one. :)

Would love it if this hosted solution could similarly be as reliable.

Good morning,

I understand you're attempting to log into your newly created, hosted ConnectWise Control site. Are you sure you're navigating to the correct URL to log into your hosted trial of Control (formerly ScreenConnect)?

The URL would have the format https://[subdomain].screenconnect.com, not https://[subdomain].connectwise.com.

Once you navigate to https://[subdomain].screenconnect.com, you will need to click "Login" and enter either your ConnectWise Control Cloud Account Admin credentials or the credentials for an internal user you may have created for yourself.

oops my bad then

*.screenconnect.com works
