Blank the remote screen on access

Rob Battaglia 8 years ago updated by Sherry 2 months ago 3

It would be great to be able to set an admin option that would blank the Access session once you connect. This way the remote screen would automatically show that it is in a remote session. I connect to customer servers and don't really want a user to walk by the server and seem someone logging in and get concerned. If the remote screen blank message would show up right away I would not have to remember to do it each time I log into a customer server.

Regards,

Rob

You say Guest monitor and I've found that... but I was looking for a way to blank the HOST machine monitor when a remote user connects... so that the host computer isn't vulnerable to prying eyes while the remote user works. This is VERY important to have in HIPAA situations where there may be client/patient information showing on the unattended Host machine. It shouldn't be a global thing, but a toggle the remote user would use to make sure the Host screen is secure from prying eyes.

Is there a way to do this? At this point I'm hesitant to use the software unless I can maintain a secure hosting screen while I'm logged into it.
