Linux RPM work when root doesn't have access to /home

In managed Enterprise Linux environments, it's common to provide home directories remotely via NFS. For security purposes, root may be squashed, so it would not have access to network NFS directories, hence no access to /home. It would make screenconnect more useful on Linux for remote access if it could work in this case. Other products do work, such as anydesk, so it can be done.
