Windows wallpaper shows before it gets removed

Bruce A. Johnson 3 years ago updated by Ben Burner 3 years ago 1

Bug originally submitted in forum Bug Reports on 2015-Feb-07:

When I first connect to a computer, the first screen SC shows is the desktop wallpaper (if it is visible), then the screen updates with the wallpaper removed. This means that the first screen SC shows takes a long time to display, when Internet connections are slow.

This continues to be a problem.

Good morning,

Thank you for submitting this information. There is an existing feature request that addresses this particular topic, here, and I have updated our internal tracker with your comments so that our PM team is made aware of your request.

What version of ConnectWise Control are you currently using? The latest release includes performance enhancements that should, to some degree, mitigate the lag between connecting to an endpoint and hiding the endpoint's wallpaper.

Regards,

Ben
