cannot unlock users in 6.1

If a user locks themselves out of SC you can no longer reset the lock out by changing the password. the time out also for the lock out seems to be indefinite now.

Thank you for reporting this issue. I was able to replicate this behavior in our test environment, and have registered the issue with development.


As a temporary workaround, if you delete and re-create the previously locked-out user, the user should be able to log in once again.

We are on 6.3.13446.6374, not finding an unlock option in Edit User Table, Edit User.  Where is the unlock function?

they only updated the system so that you can put in a temp password at this time

Thank you for the response.  Respectfully, marking the prior request as Fixed when there is no unlock and only a work around to change the password seems optimistic at best.

As it stands, you will need to log into Control as an admin and change the password for users that have locked themselves out of the application. I encourage you to add a feature request for a method to unlock users without having to reset their password:
