I am going to mark this thread as fixed, since the OP's issue should be resolved in updates included in the latest 6.1 stable release, 6.1.12292.

If you feel like you're encountering a bug in the product, please submit a new bug report and include the following information:

1) Replication steps

2) Version of Control on which the behavior reproduces

3) Host/guest machine hardware and operating system details

4) Any other information that may be helpful in reproducing the behavior in our development environment.

Hi, we have a similar issue,
Client Version:6.3.13446.6374 running on
Operating System:Hyper-V Server 2012 R2 (6.3.9600)

The preview snapshot image looks good but when you connect you only get a black screen. The mouse etc moves at the other side and if you type blind and update the snapshop preview image all input seems to be going to the endpoint computer ok.
If I RDP to the same server ScreenConnect will connect and view to the RDP logon session ok so it seems to only be the screen visibility on the console logon session.

This is on a Dell T20 server.
I upgraded ther bios from 9 to 12
none of the Intel drivers will load as its a hyperv install (missing desktop gui)

Hope this helps,
Regards
David

Good morning,

Do you encounter the same behavior if you blank the guest's monitor after connecting to the Hyper-V server?

Regards,

Ben

I have found that sometimes, oddly, if I send the command "query session" and kill the active session using "logoff session#" it will then reload the session I have on SC right away
