SMTP needs to support TLS 1.2 (at least)

Luca 4 months ago updated 2 months ago 4

We cannot deliver emails through an external mail server when TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 are disabled (on the SMTP channel).

It seems that Control cannot properly handle TLS 1.2 protocol.

ConnectWise Control Version:

It should. Is this the Windows or Mono server?

This happens on Mono (Linux) server.

Hmm, 20.1 should definitely support TLS 1.2. Do you see any error messages? If circumstances permit, it might be helpful to run the server in debug mode and send me (edavis@connectwise.com) the resulting log:

sudo /etc/init.d/screenconnect stop

sudo /etc/init.d/screenconnect debug > debug.log

(It might also help to know what mail service you're using.)

I see way too much errors! This version is in very bad conditions.

I've just sent you the debug log with over 2 MILLIONS of lines.

Good luck! :-D

The mail service is based on Debian Buster Postfix.
