Control Website Display Issues

Josh T 1 year ago updated 1 year ago 6

I am seeing an issue in the control website with both Chrome 71.0.3578.98 and Firefox 64.0.2 (64-bit) but it has been happening for a few months now.  The issue is that if you accidentally click in the grey space between commands and notes then the window becomes unusable until you refresh the website.  This is very annoying.  It seems that the button is not properly defined because it is not possible to click on the grey space between any other button.

Then this happens, notice the right side of the display is horribly messed up.

I can't replicate this in either browser. Do you have any other extensions installed besides Remote System Diagnostics?

Hello Eric,

It is doing this on several chrome browsers, even ones with no add-ins that are freshly installed.  My coworker found that the ">>" button is out of place and anywhere you click in that vertical area causes the issue.  The Orange arrow belows points to the out of place item.  The Orange box represents the area that you can click on that causes the screen to go messed up.

Ah, there's the clue. Disable (or update) the "Expand and Minimize Host Page Panels" extension. (In 6.9+ that feature is built-in, and the updated extension has a version restriction to avoid conflicts like this.)

How do i disable the extension?

Hello Eric,

Thanks for the clarification.  I will request our ScreenConnect Admin make the change.

Thank you,

Josh
