Selecting only one monitor on dual/multi monitor setups on guest PCs freezes display

Florian 3 years ago updated by Ben Burner 2 years ago 2

Hi,

if I connect to guests with one than 1 monitor and select to show only one of those monitors the guest display freezes on my side. For example if I connect to a guest PC select only monitor 1 and try to login, the display freezes after entering the credentials and hitting enter. The only chance to unfreeze is to select monitor 2 and than switch back to monitor one. This is very annoying and happens on several occasions. It always happens in the situation described above.

This behavior should be resolved in the latest 6.5 release of ConnectWise Control. If you continue to observe the behavior after upgrading both your Control server and clients, please update this thread with that information.
