On Premise 6.3.13446.6374, Linux server. Sessions presented to user on main webpage

rsenio 3 years ago updated by Ben Burner 3 years ago 6

Using version 6.3.13446.6374. I have noticed that when I create a session, either private or public that the "welcome" page shows another session link above the actual session(s). The new session link is blank with a grey arrow. Clicking it does nothing, the user can select the proper session from the drop down that is below the "ghost" session. Again, this happens as soon as you have more than one support session created, private or public.

I looked through the bug reports and didn't see this. Can someone confirm this is a bug? It wasn't like this before I updated.

Good morning,

A fix for this issue should be available in the forthcoming 6.4 release of ConnectWise Control.

Regards,

Ben

As you can see, I have two sessions created. One "test" and another in the drop down. The blank one above occurs anytime I have more than one session created.

The default when creating a session is "invite by code". This causes the box above the public sessions to be created. If I change the session from invite by code to "public", it doesn't disappear.

Good afternoon,

In the past, we hid the top action panel (the one that expects a session code) when all available sessions were public. Since I was able to replicate this behavior internally, I have registered an issue with development, and it's currently under investigation.

Cheers,

Ben

Thanks for the quick reply Ben
