Library routine called out of sequence SC

On some host devices we get this error and its becoming more frequent as we go. Is there a fix for this yet?.

Good morning,


The library routine called out of sequence message should be resolved in version 5.6+ of ConnectWise Control. The message is triggered by the presence of file transfer-type events in the database with very large data fields, and the fix essentially chunks these events into smaller events to prevent the library routine message.


Since the fix only affects new events, the existing events in your database will not be modified by upgrading to the latest stable release of Control; however, there are at least two options to eliminate the library routine messages:


1) Enable database maintenance on your server so that the offending events are eventually removed from the database.

2) Completely uninstall the client on machines that trigger the message; install a fresh client on these machines to generate a new session


I also recommend upgrading to the latest release of ConnectWise Control (6.3.13446 as of 6/30/17).
