Block Guest Input can be bypassed by using CTRL+ALT+DEL

Mike Dunn 3 years ago updated by Ben Burner 3 years ago 1

I recently discovered that when the "Block Guest Input" option is set the block and the end user hits CTRL+ALT+DEL they gain input control again. I don't know if this is an intended feature to not completely lock the local user out. Input can be blocked again by unblocking and reblocking.

Good morning,

The block guest input feature is not intended to perpetually disable the local user's control of the guest machine; rather, it's intended to temporarily block the guest's mouse movements and keyboard events so as not to interfere with the host's activities.

If the guest needs to regain control of their machine, they may do so at any time by typing a CAD.

Cheers,

Ben
