Leave internal admin active on AD bind

Ebonweaver 8 years ago updated by anonymous 8 years ago 7

If you set SC to authenticate to AD, it disables all "internal" accounts. This is a problem in that if there is an issue with the external authentication you are locked out of the software. With any software like this, there should always be a single built in admin/root account that works at all times regardless of other authentication methods. This allows the sys admin to have a way to service the system in the event of problems.

This request did not make it into 6.0. Where still working with some UI elements, but it should make 6.1.

So this just got marked completed, but 6.1 hasn't been released, so I'd disagree with it being completed until it's actually available to customers :)

All requests made on UserEcho are tied to our tracking software, so when any member of the team marks the issue complete it changes the status on here as well.

Thanks.
