Send Wake-On-LAN packet from the on-prem server

Having the "relay" to send WOL packets is a neat feature but does not work if no machines are active on the subnet. If the on-premise server was able to send WOL packets, that would help in the event there are no relays online.

Hello,

If an access client is installed on the server, and the server is on the same LAN as the offline machine you want to wake, then, I think, you'll achieve what you're asking for.

If this is not what you're asking for, please provide more details.

So why is this still not working?? (2 years on from this posting)  How does CW Control even determine what machines are in the same network as the target to WOL to send the packet via?  I have ZERO% success trying to get this working across a multitude of client sites with a raft of different hardware, yet some of the same machines with SolarWinds or LogMeIn can WOL seamlessly? (Solar allows you to select the host to relay through manually, which 'seems' works the best out of all of them) ... is it by subnet? (I hope not because 80% of my clients have the same IP schema), is it by COMPANY field? ... there is no published detail regarding just how the relay target is chosen that I can find.  PLEASE FIX THIS ESSENTIAL FEATURE
